Our 2025 Summer Retreat is around the corner! This year our theme is Being & Becoming: Who we are in Christ and who we are becoming in Christ. The theme verse is Philippians 1:6 “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Our hope is that God would challenge us as we grow deeper into understanding our identity in Christ as we learn what it means to live out that identity in Christ.
Our speaker this year is Pastor Justin Wong. Pastor Justin has been serving with students and families for the past 25 years within the Asian-American church community. He is from the Houston area and loves spending time with good friends over good food. He is married to Tina and has two daughters - Ella and Mia. He recently completed his second doctorate degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. You can find him lending his voice on the Rooted Podcast as he seeks to equip the next generation.
