Growth in Groups

I’ve been working out on Monday nights with some friends, and one of them mentioned that one of the benefits of working out in a group is how we can push each other to go harder. I’ve definitely found this to be true. I’ve tried different exercises, increased my weights, and found more motivation overall. It takes intentionality to show up, commit, and want to grow, but it’s definitely good to be in a group.

As a Christian, I’m praying that God will grow my small groups in the same way—to push each other to go harder for Christ and not simply settle for the status quo. I can play my part by asking better questions, making more challenging applications, and opening myself up to be even more honest and vulnerable. It takes intentionality to show up, commit, and want to grow, but it’s definitely good to be in a group.
