Frank Gu

Mandarin Pastor

Pastor Frank Gu was born in Jiangsu, China. He and his wife, Anna, were married in 1998 and they have one son, Teddy. While working in the food supplement business, Frank came to know Christ during a business trip to the United States in 2001. With the Spirit’s prompting, Frank accepted Christ as his Lord and personal Savior at First Chinese Baptist Church, Walnut, on September 23, 2001, and was later baptized in 2005.

Frank felt God’s call to full-time ministry at a conference in 2009, where he entered Logos Evangelical Seminary in 2011 to better equip himself for ministry. He graduated with a Master of Divinity degree in May 2014. After graduating, he started his pastoral internship at FCBC Walnut, and was formally hired as the minister for the Mandarin congregation in May 2015.

Pastor Frank Gu has a passion to share the Gospel. He also loves to take walks around the neighborhood, to travel, and to watch swimming competitions.
