40th Church Anniversary Picnic

All FCBC Walnut attendees are invited to attend our 40th Church Anniversary celebration on Saturday, April 26, 2025! Join us as we fellowship as a church in prayer, music, message, lunch (will be provided!), group activities, and more.

Registration required for all participants. Please list the number of people in each age group in the form below. Event is free to attend and there is a parking fee at the entrance. Jumpers will be available for the kids. Register by 4/20.

Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025

Program: 10:00am - 3:00pm

Location: Bonelli Park, Group Picnic Area 3

Parking: $12 per vehicle or $5 for elderly (65 and over) or with handicap placard. Parking fees are collected at the entrance from the attendant. FCBC Walnut campus will be open from 8:00am to 4:00pm for those who would like to carpool to Bonelli Park. You will need to make your own carpool arrangement.

What to bring: Blankets, outdoor chairs, and hat recommended. There are benches available at the site. You may also bring sport balls and small foldable tables. Pets not allowed.

General Information

  • All FCBC Walnut attendees are invited. As this is not an outreach event, the picnic is not open to those outside FCBC Walnut.

  • Here is the map to our exact picnic site on “Group Picnic Area 3”. Church will be open for carpool from X to X. You will need to arrange your own transportation.

  • Yes, all attendees must register. If you attend and do not register, a meal will not be reserved for you.

  • Sunday, April 20, 2025 at midnight.

  • Please email [email protected] and let us know you will no longer be able to attend.

Costs & Parking

  • FCBC Walnut campus will be open for you to arrange your own carpool transportation. You must sign in with your name and your vehicle info in the office if you are leaving your car on campus. Church is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

  • The event is free to attend. Parking is $12 at the entrance to the park. $5 for elderly (65 and over) or with handicap placard.

Event Activities & Amenities

  • There will be a time of musical worship, worship in message, lunch, jumpers, organized activity, free play, and some other activities.

  • Bento boxes and dessert will be provided.

  • There will be jumpers and face painting available at specific times.

  • There is a public restroom at the entrance of the spot (Picnic 3).

What to Bring & Rules

  • Please bring your own water bottles, blankets, foldable tables, camping chairs, and any appropriate sport equipment. Canopies (max size is 10×10) are allowed.

  • We are not allowing any dogs at our picnic site.

  • There are limited seats (~200) available under the awning where the message and music will be held. There is a large grass area behind the main awning for you and your family to find a place to sit.

Miscellaneous

  • Event will happen rain or shine. There is an awning over the seated area. If it rains, we can not ensure everyone will have an overhead covering.
