Summer is just around the corner and that means it's time to gear up for Youth Retreat 2024! This year's theme is "Rock of Ages", taken from the famous hymn and many parts of Scripture that declare God to be our rock that we can stand on in challenging times. This year's retreat will be unique in that it will signify a changing of leadership - it will be my last youth retreat as a youth pastor at FCBC and it will be Pastor Taylor's first youth retreat as our FCBC youth pastor. With all these changes that can be both joyful & sorrowful, I believe it is good to remember that ultimately, we look to God as our rock & refuge in times of need. I hope and pray this retreat will be a powerful time to seek the Lord together as a church during this significant milestone in our church. Hope to see you all there!

Bring Refillable Water Bottle

Yes, I'm saying this again because I lost count of how many times students forgot to drink water last year and began to feel the effects of high altitude. Bring a refillable water bottle. Drink water frequently. Repeat. Please.

Items Not Allowed

Do NOT bring music players, electronic games, weapons, knives, illegal substances, alcohol, fireworks, etc or any other distractions. If you do, it will be confiscated and returned to your parents at the end of retreat.

No Electronics Policy (cell phone, laptop, iPad, Apple Watch, etc)

If you bring a cell phone/laptop/iPad/apple watch, you will be asked to turn in your device before getting on the bus and it will be stored in a safe container. You will receive your device upon returning to church on July 28th. The purpose is for you to fully remove distractions and focus on seeking God & being with your church family.  If you have an emergency and need to contact your parents, you will be permitted to use your cell phone.

Sick/Flu Symptoms Policy

If you have a temperature of 100.4 or higher or displaying flu symptoms, we will ask your parents to pick you up from camp so that you do not share the love with others.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact: Kevin Quan ([email protected])
